“Indian Head Massage
‘I suffer with ms,me and depression and tend to sleep 3-4 hours per night with disturbed sleep. I thought an Indian head massage would reduce my stress levels but the first time I had one it not only helped me to feel more relaxed in myself but I was able to sleep 3-4 nights on the trot straight through without waking up’! Thank you Sarah-Jane.

This treatment can be booked individually or incorporated into the start of the Lifestyle balance coaching session to enable you to feel more relaxed. As it can be best to make decisions and changes in your life from being in a level headed relaxed position to start with.
Most of us are functioning with a high level of stress every day which is not good for our physical health and it’s about going back to basics and about the simple things in life - away from the hum drum, chaotic, rack race we find ourselves in most days!
Sometimes we don’t want to sit down and do nothing as we find it can bring up feelings and emotions we don’t want to deal with at the time so it’s easier to be busy!
We can help you find better ways to relax day to day and help you to breath more consciously which will improve your health and wellbeing. This can just mean sitting at home and listening to meditative soothing music and drifting off into your own world for a few minutes a day.
Visualisation can help your mind to switch off and take your mind to a place that can feel relaxed and at peace.
Examples of places that you may choose to go to in your mind, could be:
“walking in the forest with just the sound of the birds... sitting by the river with the sun beaming down on you...walking in the sand on your favourite beach... hearing the sound of the waves... or daydreaming about a holiday destination that you have been on which you’d like to visit again..”.
All of these techniques are good for you and you can do these on your own for as little as ten minutes a day!
